Comrade Do Duc Duy was elected Minister of Natural Resources and Environment

Yen Bai Provincial Party Secretary Do Duc Duy has just been approved by the National Assembly to be appointed as Minister of Natural Resources and Environment for the 2021-2026 term.

On August 26, at the 8th Extraordinary Session of the 15th National Assembly, with the majority of delegates in favor, the National Assembly passed a Resolution approving the appointment of Mr. Do Duc Duy, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Yen Bai Provincial Party Committee, Head of the 15th National Assembly Delegation of Yen Bai Province, as Minister of Natural Resources and Environment for the 2021-2026 term with a vote of 426/426 National Assembly delegates.

New Minister of Natural Resources and Environment Do Duc Duy was born on May 20, 5, hometown of Thuy Van commune, Thai Thuy district, Thai Binh province. He has a Master's degree in Construction; Advanced political theory. Mr. Do Duc Duy is a member of the 13th Party Central Committee; Member of the 15th National Assembly.

Mr. Do Duc Duy spent more than 6 years teaching at Hanoi University of Architecture (February 2 - March 1996) before moving to work at the Ministry of Construction. He has held the following positions: Deputy Director of the Department of Personnel Organization; Chief of Office of the Ministry of Construction; Deputy Minister of Construction. Since February 2, he has been Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Yen Bai province. By September 9, Mr. Do Duc Duy held the position of Secretary of the Yen Bai Provincial Party Committee.
