Quy Nhon City, located in Binh Dinh Province on Viet Nam ’s South Central Coast, is a tranquil coastal destination where natural beauty meets a rich cultural heritage.

Recently, it was recognized as an "ASEAN Clean Tourism City," a prestigious title that underscores the city's commitment to environmental protection and sustainable tourism development.

Nhon Hai Commune, one of Quy Nhon’s most renowned tourist spots, is known for its pristine landscapes. To balance tourism growth with environmental preservation, local authorities and residents actively engage in initiatives such as waste sorting, exchanging recyclables for gifts, and coral reef conservation.

Many resorts in the area adhere to green tourism principles, maintaining low construction density and integrating lush greenery into their designs. Additionally, eco-friendly materials are used for bathroom essentials and furniture, reinforcing Quy Nhon's commitment to sustainability.

During the Lunar New Year, Quy Nhon has become a popular travel destination, attracting visitors with its unspoiled beauty and welcoming atmosphere.

Earning the "ASEAN Clean Tourism City" title is not the final goal but a stepping stone for Quy Nhon. Looking ahead, the city aims to position itself as a leading tourism hub in Viet Nam  and Southeast Asia, continuing its journey toward sustainable and responsible tourism.
