Climate change response is a priority for Viet Nam - New Zealand cooperation
On the afternoon of October 30th, in Hanoi, Deputy Minister of Natural Resources and Environment (MONRE) Le Cong Thanh, received and worked with Ms. Caroline Beresfort, New Zealand's Ambassador to Viet Nam, and Ms. Anna Broadthurst, Lead Adviser on Climate Change at the New Zealand Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade.
The two sides agreed that the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment of Viet Nam and the Ministry for Climate Change of New Zealand will sign a Cooperation Agreement on Climate Change
Deputy Minister Le Cong Thanh stated that the two countries share many similarities in responding to climate change
