Prime Minister Appoints 10 Deputy Ministers of Agriculture and Environment

Specifically, according to Decision 329/QD-TTg dated February 19th, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has mobilized and appointed Mr. Nguyen Hoang Hiep, Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, to hold the position of Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Environment. The term of appointment is 5 years.

According to Decision 334/QD-TTg dated February 19th, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has mobilized and appointed Mr. Tran Quy Kien, Deputy Minister of Natural Resources and Environment, to hold the position of Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Environment.   

According to Decision 335/QD-TTg dated February 19th, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has mobilized and appointed Mr. Le Cong Thanh, Deputy Minister of Natural Resources and Environment, to hold the position of Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Environment.

According to Decision 337/QD-TTg dated February 19th, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has mobilized and appointed Mr. Le Minh Ngan, Deputy Minister of Natural Resources and Environment, to hold the position of Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Environment. The term of appointment is 5 years.

According to Decision 339/QD-TTg dated February 19th, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has mobilized and appointed Ms. Nguyen Thi Phuong Hoa, Deputy Minister of Natural Resources and Environment, to hold the position of Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Environment.  

According to Decision 345/QD-TTg dated February 19th, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has mobilized and appointed Mr. Tran Thanh Nam, Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, to hold the position of Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Environment.   

According to Decision 346/QD-TTg dated February 19th, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has mobilized and appointed Mr. Nguyen Quoc Tri, Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, to hold the position of Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Environment.

According to Decision 347/QD-TTg dated February 19th, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has mobilized and appointed Mr. Phung Duc Tien, Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, to hold the position of Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Environment.   

According to Decision 348/QD-TTg dated February 19th, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has mobilized and appointed Mr. Hoang Trung, Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, to hold the position of Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Environment. The term of appointment is 5 years.

According to Decision 355/QD-TTg dated February 19th, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has mobilized and appointed Mr. Vo Van Hung, Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, to hold the position of Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Environment. The term of appointment is 5 years.   

The above Decisions take effect from March 1st, 2025.

The Ministry of Agriculture and Environment was established on the basis of merging the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development and the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, basically inheriting the functions and tasks assigned to the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development and the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment and taking over the state management task of poverty reduction from the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs. According to the Resolution of the National Assembly, the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment will begin operations from March 1st, 2025.   

The leaders of the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment include the Minister, Mr. Do Duc Duy, and 10 Deputy Ministers including: Mr. Tran Quy Kien, Mr. Le Cong Thanh, Mr. Le Minh Ngan, Ms. Nguyen Thi Phuong Hoa, Mr. Nguyen Hoang Hiep, Mr. Tran Thanh Nam, Mr. Nguyen Quoc Tri, Mr. Phung Duc Tien, Mr. Hoang Trung and Mr. Vo Van Hung.
