The Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment is proposing to supplement the form of providing, exploiting and using online information, data, survey and mapping products.
The above proposal is made in accordance with the actual use needs and responsiveness of level 4 online public services in terms of providing information, data, surveying and cartographic products, serving the construction of e-Government, towards digital government.
That is the proposal in the draft Decree amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Government's Decree No. 27/2019/ND-CP dated March 13, 2019 detailing a number of articles of the Law on Surveying and Mapping.
According to the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, at present, the need to provide information, data, surveying and mapping products in online form is gradually becoming popular. Organizations and individuals that need to be provided with information and data received from the national network of satellite positioning stations, national geographic background data, etc., in online form to ensure that they are provided in real time.
Data of the national network of satellite positioning stations, including the coordinate values, altitude, and gravity of national satellite positioning stations established during the construction of the national network of satellite positioning stations, used to build the national coordinate system, the dynamic national coordinate system, to link the national coordinate system with the international coordinate system, for scientific research, for surveying and mapping activities.
Collected information and data from the national network of satellite positioning stations are continuously processed and provided to organizations and individuals for consistent exploitation and use throughout the country in service of surveying and mapping activities, navigation, scientific research and other activities.
