Over 100 airlines negotiate to purchase carbon credits from Vietnamese enterprise

INTRACO/SIPCO, a Vietnamese company, has secured approval for the international transfer of over 90 million carbon credits by 2030 through its investment projects in Laos and Cambodia. Of these, more than 4.5 million carbon credits have already been authorized for issuance. These credits are issued after 2021, with official approval for international transfer from the host countries, and comply with Article 6 of the Paris Agreement. The technology used in these projects is accepted by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), though forestation projects and renewable energy projects over 15 MW are excluded.
