Celebrating 50 years of diplomatic relations between Viet Nam and Sweden (1969-2024), the Swedish Embassy in Viet Nam and Business Sweden organized the opening of the Swedish Green Exhibition on October 21 in Ho Chi Minh City. The event also marked the launch of the publication Swedish-Viet Nam Business Imprint, reaffirming Sweden's commitment to deepening cooperation with Viet Nam for a greener future.

As part of GEFE 2024, the Swedish Embassy in Viet Nam and the Swedish Business Association organized the Swedish Green Exhibition, showcasing innovative green solutions with a focus on renewable energy, emission reduction, the circular economy, and new technologies.

The exhibition highlights advanced solutions that enhance efficiency and climate resilience, supporting Viet Nam’s sustainable development goals. Leading Swedish green technology companies presented their products and the latest updates on practical solutions to meet Viet Nam's real-world needs. The exhibition also provides opportunities for Vietnamese businesses and partners to explore collaboration with Swedish companies in developing the green economy, particularly in renewable energy, emission reduction, circular economy, and new technologies.

Swedish Ambassador to Viet Nam Johan Ndisi noted that the "Swedish Green Exhibition" is a meaningful event to celebrate 55 years of diplomatic relations between Sweden and Viet Nam. The event not only reflects the enduring, special partnership between the two nations but also demonstrates the close bond between Sweden and Viet Nam.

"Cooperation is the key to addressing climate change. The Swedish Green Exhibition is not just an exhibition but a collaborative platform to strengthen partnerships and promote Viet Nam’s green transition. By showcasing our solutions, Sweden hopes to inspire closer cooperation between Sweden and Viet Nam," said Ambassador Johan Ndisi.
