Join hands for a comprehensive early warning system
On March 24, the Hydrometeorology Authority organized a ceremony to launch activities in response to World Meteorological Day 2025. This year's theme, "Working Together for a Comprehensive Early Warning System," emphasizes strengthening national capacities and fostering cooperation at all levels to ensure early warning systems operate effectively—from global to local scales—helping bridge gaps in disaster forecasting and warnings.
Building a sustainable future in the face of climate change
This is the goal of the Project "Enhancing resilience to climate change impacts for vulnerable coastal communities in Viet Nam". The project, implemented from 2017 to 2024 with a total budget of 42 million USD, funded by the Green Climate Fund (GCF) and counterpart funds from Vietnam, has achieved positive results in enhancing coastal communities' resilience to climate change's impacts.
