On August 3, in Ha Noi, the Department of Water Resources Management in collaboration with the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) organized a workshop on "Sustainable water resource management in Australia - Lessons learned". He workshop has an important meaning on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Viet Nam and Australia (February 26, 1973 - February 26, 2023).

121 climate-resilient ponds were built within the framework of the project "Strengthening the resilience of smallholder agriculture to climate change-induced water insecurity in the Central Highlands and South-Central Coast regions of Viet Nam” funded by the Green Climate Fund (GCF), the project aims to improve water security and protect the livelihoods of smallholder farmers in the region.
