Innovative to save water for elementary students in Ha Noi

The Institute of Water Resources Sciences introduced the initiative "Improving understanding of the value of water resources, using water economically and using water in daily life for students in Ha Noi".

The Initiative "Improving understanding of the value of water resources, using water economically and using water in daily life for students in Ha Noi" aims to raise the understanding of water resources values, measures to save water and reuse water in daily life for students from elementary to high school in Hanoi.

          The initiative was implemented with main activities including: surveying and assessing awareness, current status of water use; building an online interactive game (e-ProWater); and organizing a series of programs to raise awareness and provide policy feedback related to water resources.

          The initiative will be implemented at 3 inter-level schools including: Khuong Ha Primary School, Middle School & High School; Nguyen Binh Khiem Middle & High School and The Dewey Schools through workshops with 2050 attendees (teachers, students and parents who are directly and indirectly participating in); aim to reach experts in education, environment, and water resources; provide new scientific materials, knowledge websites, and interactive games e-ProWater;…

          The initiative was funded by the Justice Initiative Facilitation Fund (JIFF Foundation). The JIFF Fund, managed by Oxfam in Viet Nam, is one of the two components of the "Strengthening Law and Justice in Viet Nam" (EU JULE) project funded by the European Union and owned by the Ministry of Justice. The project aims to develop the law in Vietnam through a reliable and accessible justice system.
